Jilin University (JLU) was founded in 1946, became a national key university in 1960, and is a Project 211, Project 985 and Double First-Class institution. It is one of China's largest comprehensive universities, with particular strength in automotive and mechanical engineering, chemistry, materials, medicine and law. International students may apply to 35 Chinese-taught and 2 English-taught bachelor's programmes, and all applicants must submit a CSCA score report.
