Founded in 1919, Nankai University is a Project 985/211 and Double First-Class comprehensive university with particular strength in mathematics, chemistry, history, economics, business, and the humanities. International undergraduates enter via a '1+3' model (one foundation year at the School of International Education, then three years in the major) across 41 Chinese-taught majors.
